On the edge of Bodmin Moor, ancient neolithic men were turned to stone.
If you keep walking up from The Hurlers, you will find yourself on Stowe's Hill, atop sits The Cheesewring, a beautiful formation formed by millions of years of erosion. I was completely enamoured by these formations, and for once the high midday sun played into my favour for what I had in mind. I was inspired by the work of Horst to capture these sculptures as the light cast deep shadows across and below them.
